Description:Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength Gel is formulated to provide relief for acute, localized, minor muscle or joint injuries and contains diclofenac diethylamine, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. This gel has a mild scent that disappears as the gel penetrates the skin and can be applied every 12 hours.

Indications:For relief of aches and pain associated with acute, localized minor muscle or joint injuries such as sprains, strains, or sports injuries (e.g. ankle sprain, shoulder strain, back muscle pain, etc.)

Dosage for Adults Aged 18 to 65 Years:

• Apply 2 grams twice a day (morning and evening) on the painful area using the dosing card supplied. Do not use more than 4 grams per day.
• Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength can be used for up to 7 days for muscle/joint injuries. See a doctor if symptoms get worse or do not improve within 7 days.

Warning:

• Do not use the product if you have had an allergic reaction to diclofenac or other medicines used to treat pain, fever, or inflammation.
• Do not use this product if you are allergic to diclofenac or any ingredients listed in this product.
• Talk to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you are taking oral diclofenac or other medicines used to treat pain, fever, or inflammation.
• Do not apply to skin with conditions such as cuts, open wounds, or on skin that has a rash or eczema.
• Do not wrap skin with airtight or occlusive dressing.

Voltaren is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works to relieve pain and reduce inflammation (swelling).

Voltaren can be used to help with different types of arthritis. Voltaren (Voltaren Rapid) is a pain reliever and fever reducer. Voltaren works by blocking the production of certain chemicals in the body that causes inflammation (swelling).

When you take Voltaren, it reduces pain and swelling in your body. Voltaren works by blocking the enzymes (molecule X) that produce pain, inflammation (swelling) and swelling (rash) in your body.

Read on - there are benefits to taking Voltaren as well as a lower chance of stomach upset, but the risk of stomach ulcers and bleeding is higher when taken with food.

Do not take Voltaren if you:

• take an NSAID such as diclofenac or ibuprofen for headaches or arthritis
• take medicines for high blood pressure, including high blood pressure that is taken by angina (chest pain caused by insufficient blood flow to the heart) or liver or kidneys
• take medicines for heart disease or a heart attack or treat fluid retention in the ankles (urinating from the ankles)
• are allergic to aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines (such as ibuprofen or naproxen)
• are a smoker
• have high blood pressure
• have heart problems (hypertension, angina and other heart problems)
• are pregnant

You can buy Voltaren over the counter at chemi-labs. You can find it in the pharmacy section of your area.

Take Voltaren regularly at the same time each day. Your symptoms will improve after you finish taking it. This will give you a period when you can go back to your regular dosage.

If you take too much Voltaren, call your doctor and get help right away. (See warning signs).

Voltaren is not suitable for everyone. You and your doctor can help decide what will work best for you.

Always take it exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you to. Ask your pharmacist if you have any questions. You can also ask your pharmacist.

Always read the label and use only as per your doctor's advice. Keep all your regular medical and laboratory appointments to an hour after taking the pill.

Do not change the way you take Voltaren without the advice of your doctor.

It is important to take Voltaren as directed, even if your pain gets worse. Take it at the same time each day.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Store the pills at room temperature away from light and moisture. Do not store Voltaren in the bathroom. Keep Voltaren away from children and pets.

It is important to talk to your doctor if you experience any side effects while taking Voltaren.

Side effects may include:

• chest pain
• upset stomach
• naprazole

The manufacturer of Voltaren says you can get more serious side effects with NSAIDs. The risk of serious side effects is higher if you take NSAIDs for a long time, or if you take certain other medicines, such as those you take for arthritis.

Warnings

Do not use Voltaren Emulgel:

• If you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, any other anti-inflammatory medicines, or any of the ingredients in Voltaren Emulgel, use the product as you may or may be allergic to similar products. See a pharmacist for advice before using this product to treat an allergic reaction. store below 30°
• If you are taking aspirin for the prevention of heart attack or stroke: use the product only to reduce the pain during treatment. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, or have recently taken, an other anti-inflammatory product that contains aspirin, other anti-inflammatory medicines, or heart medicines. Ask your pharmacist for a list of these products.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding: do not use Voltaren Emulgel during the last three months of pregnancy and follow the directions for use.

Directions

Use the product directly on the affected area. Ensure the product is squeezed out onto a tongue or spoon. Take the product orally with water.

Do not use Voltaren Emulgel on more than the prescribed dose. Unless your doctor tells you to, do not use this product more often than recommended.

Keep Voltaren Emulgel out of the reach of children. Store below 30°. Keep on a cool and dry place. As it is a gel, it is easy to rub in and apply. Do not apply to skin with an anti-inflammatory medication.
